Additionally, Information technology is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative subspecialty care to children of eastern North Carolina, to advance scientific expertise through basic and clinical research, and to provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region. Job tasks The Department of Pediatrics, Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University is seeking a full-time BE/BC academic developmental/behavioral pediatrician. candidates with interests in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders and developmental delays are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities will also include medical education (teaching) residents and medical students. income and rank are commensurate with credentials. Greenville is a rapidly growing university town 90 minutes from the Research Triangle and 90 minutes from the beautiful NC beaches. Fixed-term or tenure-track position available at adjunct, Associate, or Professor. Employment in this position provides eligibility to participate in the UNC Optional Retirement Program (ORP) which offers matching employer contributions and employee control of investment choices, along with eligibility to participate in various Voluntary Supplemental Retirement Plans (401k, 403b. 457). This position is not eligible to participate in the NC Teachers' and State Employees' Retirement System (TSERS).
