Candidate to assist with office operations including cashiering for student accounts, refunds, accurately coding and posting data and retaining account records. In addition, provide support to the offices in Brooklyn and Great River, when necessary. Responsibilities Include:» Provide excellent customer service» Handle Accounts Receivables for students and internal departments » Researching and analyzing students accounts connected with Third party payment plans » Trouble shoot student accounts and reply accordingly » Effectively communicate with staff members, co-workers and other departments » Cash Handling and reconciling » Accurately billing/invoicing student accounts when appropriate » Other tasks as assigned by Bursar Appropriate qualifications:» H.S. Diploma with office practice; Associate degree preferred» Excellent Customer services expertise » capability to multitask » capability to work under minimal supervision and independently » Strong data entry expertise » expertise of Microsoft Office; i.e. WORD, EXCEL » Detail oriented and organized » Excellent oral and written communications expertise » Problem solving expertise » Colleague practice a plus » Flexible hours, schedule may require evening and/or weekend hours » capability to travel between Great River and Patchogue locations income: $33k - $35k Position is an immediate need.
