Key Job responsibilities: • supervise accounting operations and financial reporting. • Develop and enforce financial policies. • Manage cash flow, contracts, banking, insurance, and legal matters. • Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting. • Implement and maintain financial controls and reconciliations. • Coordinate annual audits and tax return preparation. • Lead and mentor accounting staff. • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Appropriate qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting. • Minimum 10 years of financial practice. • expertise of winery and vineyard operations. • Proficient in QuickBooks; familiarity with Vintrace and WineDirect is a plus. • Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean DMV record. Working Conditions: • Full-time, typically 40 hours per week with some variations. Compensation: Competitive income and comprehensive benefits package (401K, health insurance, etc.).
