Presbyterian Historical Society

The Presbyterian Historical Society in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is hiring a Religious News Service Project Archivist for a limited term of 18 months. This position is funded via a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The RNS Project Archivist will work in a team of two to appraise, rehouse, digitize, and describe the Religious News Service photograph collection of approximately 60,000 photo files. A minimum of 22,500 images will be selected for digitization during the project term. all over the grant period, the RNS Project Archivist will also contribute to PHS communications and outreach to share about the collection and the project's progress.
Compensation for this position is $22 per hour at 35 hours a week.
