Min Hourly Rate $14.70 (Standard); $13.70 (Non-Urban); $15.95 (Portland Metro) Max Hourly Rate $19.00 (Standard); $18.50 (Non-Urban); $20.00 (Portland Metro) Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) CMTD Machine Shop adjunct position for the CEOAS department at Oregon State University (OSU). Student Employee will assist with shop organization, maintenance, and production of machined components in the CEOAS Machine and Technical Development (CMTD) facility. Position tasks 40% Machine operation includes medium volume production of components on the manual milling machine, CNC milling machine, manual lathe, and CNC lathe. 25% Shop maintenance pertains to routine maintenance of lubrication and cooling systems on shop equipment as well as tooling inventory and monitoring. 25% Housekeeping 10% Component assembly of outsourced and in-house components into field-ready instrumentation and equipment.
