Third Street Greenville NC - is currently seeking various school personnel. The following Part Time positions are available: • Health/P.E Teacher: Mon-Fri (1:30-3:30) -Use the NC Standards for Physical Education to Combine Physical Activity with Classroom Activities that enhance student expertise of Health and PE. -Teach fundamentals of sports to include good sportsmanship. -Healthy Living lessons on Eating, Drinking, Drugs. • After School adjunct : -Work with the After School Coordinator to assist students with Homework, Snacks and Play time. • Office adjunct : (Need 2) -Providing support to the school Principal. Great for someone who is organized. Responsibilities may include: o Welcoming visitors to your office. o Answering phone calls. o Taking and delivering messages. o superviseing clerical tasks, such as sorting and distributing mail, preparing documents. o Keeping up with the school calendar o Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed. o Maintaining files. • Teachers adjuncts : (Need 3) -Supports the lead teacher in the classroom by helping students lgain and prepare for lessons. Responsibilities can vary depending on the age group of the students, but generally include: o Student support: Interacting with students, tutoring them individually or in groups, and helping them understand the material o Student progress: Monitoring student behavior, progress, and attitudes, and documenting their learning o Classroom management: Setting up and tidying the classroom, enforcing rules, and helping maintain discipline o Record keeping: Taking attendance, calculating grades, and tracking tardiness o Non-classroom supervision: superviseing students during lunch, recess Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Education, Physical Education and Psychology majors preferred.
