Guerin Glass Architects is seeking a highly skilled Architectural Project Manager to join our team. As an Architectural Project Manager, you will be responsible for superviseing and managing all aspects of architectural projects from inception to completion. this function requires strong leadership abilities, organizational, and communication expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The Project Manager should have a minimum of 8 years of practice and have a professional degree in Architecture. The Project Manager will work with the Studio Directors and report to the Managing Director and Principals.
Job responsibilities:
   » Project Planning and Management:
   » Assist in the development of project proposals including scheduling, resourcing and fees.
   » Develop comprehensive project work plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
   » Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
   » Prepare project schedules, establish project milestones and monitor progress to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and quality standards.
   » Monitor and report on internal project costs and performance and resourcing.
   » Manage and track project invoicing and expenses including contracted consultants.
   » Assist in the preparation, negotiation and execution of Owner/Architect and Consultant contracts.
   » Prepare, issue and track any contract amendments /additional services scope and construction change Orders.
   » Budget Management:
   » Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and forecasting financial performance.
   » Identify potential cost savings opportunities and mitigate budget overruns.
   » Team leadership abilities and Collaboration:
   » Lead project teams, delegating tasks and responsibilities as necessary.
   » Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork among all stakeholders.
   » Risk Management:
   » Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
   » Address any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project promptly and effectively.
   » Client Relationship Management:
   » Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, covering inquiries, providing project updates, and managing expectations.
   » Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness to feedback.
   » Documentation and Reporting:
   » Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
   » Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
   » Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
   » Proven practice as an Architectural Project Manager or similar function in the construction industry.
   » Strong expertise of architectural design, building codes, and construction processes.
   » Excellent leadership abilities, organizational, and problem-solving expertise.
   » Proficiency in project management software.
   » Effective communication expertise, both verbal and written.
   » capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
   » practice with sustainable design practices and green building standards preferred.
   » Proactive and collaborative.
   » Detail oriented, highly organized, and efficient.
   » Capable of working in a rapid paced workflow.
   » availability to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
   » Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
   » Must have practice in Microsoft Office, BluBeam Revu, and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
   » practice in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Enscape, Edited would be a plus.
   » Architectural registration and LEED certification are a plus.
   » Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
