The Wilma TheaterThe Wilma Theater is seeking additional house managers for performances at the Wilma Theater this June and July.Reporting to the Box Office Manager, House Managers welcome the public to the theater and supervise their safety and well-being before, during, and immediately after performances and events. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include but not limited to: » Handling audience needs. » Making lobby announcements. » Instructing volunteers ushers on how to scan tickets. » Being in contact with Stage Management about when to open and close doors to the theater and about late seating. » Filling out a Front of House report form for each event and incident reports as needed. Requirements Candidates should have excellent communication expertise and the capability to respond gracefully in high pressure situations. Must have a commitment to Equity and Inclusion. Compensation This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt function with compensation of $15.75/hour.
