Position DetailsPosition InformationPosting Number: 2022140 Classification Title: Position Title: Instructor FTE: 1 FLSA: income: commensurate Job Summary/Basic Function: About this function: The Department of Psychology seeks candidates to teach lower and upper-level undergraduate Psychology courses. The teaching load would be 4 courses in the Fall and Spring semesters. There are also opportunities for teaching 1 or 2 courses in the summer session. The ideal candidate will have practice teaching and/or be prepared to teach the following courses: General Psychology, Introduction to Statistical Methods, Advanced Statistics, Research Methods, Evolutionary Psychology. What You'll Do - Position Job responsibilities: » Implement effective teaching strategies. Key Competencies: » Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. » capability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies. Physical Requirements: Able to lift 25 lbs and be able to execute a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.
