Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc.Department: DevelopmentReports to: Managing Director, Annual Fund and Development Services Summary: The Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for the processing and acexpertisement of philanthropic gifts made to The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. (POKC) as well as accurately maintaining the constituent database with account changes. The Coordinator will manage the donor phone line and inboxes as needed. TheDevelopment Coordinator reports totheManaging Director, Annual Fund and Development Services and will work closely with the Manager, Development Services and other Development Coordinators. PrimaryJob responsibilities: Collect andprocesseveryday contributions andcreate everyday giftbatches andprovide dailybatch reports as directed. Adjust gifts, pledges and payments as directed. Produce giftreceipts, individualizedacexpertisementletters andmembership packets as needed. Accuratelymaintainconstituentdatabase,includingduplicateaccountmerges. Addnew constituent records tothedatabase asneeded, analyze information andpopulate all appropriate address updates and data fields where information is available. Organize,coordinateandmaintaintheintegrityofhardcopygiftfilingsystem. Respond tomember/donorphone andemailinquiries viatheMember Services Hotline, membership email account. Assist members/donors with ticket requests and special needs for events and performances. Assist on an as needed basis with other Development administrative tasks. Othertasksasassigned. MinimumAppropriate qualifications: Detailoriented,wellorganizedandstrongworkethicinaconfidentialsetting. capabilitytowork undertightdeadlineswhilemaintainingdataaccuracyandintegrityamust. Stronginterpersonal expertise, withthecapability toworkindependentlyas well as in team settings. Flexibilityandpatienceamust,alongwithexcellentcommunicationexpertise,reflec tinga customer-serviceorientation. capabilitytohandlemember/donorcomplaintsandproblemspolitelyandefficiently. ProficiencyinMicrosoftOffice and comfortable learning new software. Prior practice with customer relationship management software (CRMs) preferred; Tessiturapracticea plus. Environment, Physical Demands and other conditions: Office Environment Must be available to work select nights/weekends for performances and events.
