The ideal candidate is organized, with strong leadership abilities and project management expertise, technically proficient in Revit modeling and assembling of drawing sets, expertiseable of construction codes and standards, and an excellent communicator. Once hired, you will participate in all phases of projects, from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration for new construction and renovations in the high-end residential sector. this function will work on a wide variety of project types; our firm is a collaborative environment so you should be comfortable working both independently and in a team. Responsibilities (determined by practice level) » comprehensive architectural project management for small- to medium-sized projects » code research and compliance documentation » schematic design through construction administration and project completion » drafting and detailing for projects of various sizes, primarily in NYC » construction administration, including site meetings, submittal reviews, and RFI responses » project management, including client interaction and contractor communications » coordination of engineering and other consultants » administering junior staff, if appropriate: red-lining mark-ups and leading small project teams Requirements » 7+ years of professional practice (practice must be in the US, New York tri-state area preferred) » professional degree in Architecture or a related field (min. level Bachelors) » professional licensure is encouraged » prior project management practice » practice with construction documents and details » construction administration practice » proficiency with Autodesk Revit, as well as rendering development through Enscape » familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly Photoshop & InDesign » practice with Bluebeam Revu for PDF mark-up and collaborative review sessions Employment Details » this is a full-time position, with a hybrid remote/in-person environment at our TriBeCa studio » income Range: $85k - $100k annually » benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance » 401k profit-sharing after one year with the company » paid time off and all major US holidays » friendly and collaborative open studio environment To ensure a safe environment for all employees, Information technology is strongly recommended that all employees be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per CDC recommendations.
