We now represent Valcucine, Ascent, Agape, Alpes, Davide Groppi, Cesar, Horm, Kristalia, Rimadesio, NEMO Lighting and G.T.Design. DOM New York is our flagship showroom in the United States. Located in SoHo, the showroom offers the entire range of companies under the Dom umbrella. We also serve as the corporate headquarters for DOM. We work with a global network of architects and designers on private residences, workplaces, and multi-unit projects. This position is an internship at the DOM Interiors showroom in Soho. Candidates will gain an knowledge of the "to the trade" design industry. Primary Responsibilities • Pulling samples for clients in the showroom and for clients who call to request mail outs • Managing inventory for all lines • Receive inventory • Assist with showroom related events • Assist sales reps with in-showroom appointments • Assist with merchandising and displays in the showroom • everyday showroom tasks: tidying floor area, finish samples and tear sheets Minimum Qualifications • Ideal candidates will be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or have equivalent work practice. • Ideal candidates will have some practice working in a retail or showroom environment. • capability to multitask • Some light lifting (20lbs – 30lbs max) • Computer expertise – AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite View your Application History Skills:
