Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Reproductive Health Student Outreach adjunct position for the Student Health Services Contraceptive Care (CCARE) program at Oregon State University (OSU).

Join our team as the Reproductive Health Student Outreach adjunct to play an important function in supporting the Student Health Services Contraceptive Care (CCARE) program team and Reproductive Health services at OSU's Corvallis campus. this function is crucial in promoting consciousness and education about available reproductive health services for OSU students. Collaborating closely with CCARE program staff, the adjunct will engage with students across various settings to provide information, support, and resources related to reproductive health. They will actively promote existing resources, advocate for informed decision-making regarding contraceptive care and implement effective outreach strategies to increase enrollment of eligible students into the CCARE program.

this function will collaborate closely with the Reproductive Health Student Technical adjunct to help provide enrollment access at campus locations and events. Additionally, this position contributes to the development and execution of student feedback sessions focused on enhancing access to and utilization of reproductive health services and resources at OSU Corvallis campus.

Position tasks Responsibilities Include:
   »Outreach and Engagement: Actively promote and raise consciousness about reproductive health resources and services offered through Student Health Services and CCARE program. Maintain a high level of expertise regarding resources and disseminate this information with students and campus partners.
   »suitable education Assist in organization and conducting education events on topics such as contraception, STI avoidance, sexual health.
   »Event Coordination: Collaborate with campus organizations and student groups to engage in events that promote reproductive health consciousness, resources and advocacy.
   »Resource Management: Collaborate with marketing team to maintain and update informational materials, posters, digital resources related to reproductive health for distribution across campus.
   »Data Collection and Reporting: Assist in collecting feedback and data to evaluate the impact of reproductive health services and outreach efforts to improve program effectiveness.
   »Technical Support: Provide support to CCARE program staff to enroll eligible students into CCARE program.
   »Collaboration: Work closely with CCARE program staff and the Reproductive Health Student Technical adjunct to streamline enrollment processes and ensure effective communication.

   » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
   » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
   » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
   » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
   » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
   » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
   » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
   » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

Additional Required Qualifications Minimum Appropriate qualifications:
   » Current OSU undergraduate student passionate about reproductive health, contraception education, public health, or related fields
   » Strong communication and interpersonal expertise with the capability to engage effectively with diverse student populations
   » capability to work both independently and collaboratively
   » Commitment to promoting inclusivity, equity and empowerment in reproductive health education and advocacy
   » Commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity in handling patient and reproductive health information
   » Available to work the entire 2024-25 academic year (September - June)
   » Available to work flexible hours, committing to 15 hrs/week with afternoon and evenings on a regular basis, some weekend events (Corvallis campus)

Preferred (Special) Qualifications Preferred Appropriate qualifications:
   » practice in outreach, tabling, workshop or focus groups is a plus
   » expertise of reproductive health issues, including contraception methods, STIs, and sexual health
