Posting Details (Default Section)Posting Number:: 20240583T Position Title:: Athletics Marketing Intern Employment type:: Temp/Intern Job location:: Villanova, PA Work Schedule:: temporary Approximate Number of Hours per Week: 35 Department:: 732-Athletics - Promotion + Marketing Position Summary:: Intern will support marketing efforts for 24 Division I athletic teams at Villanova University. tasks and Job responsibilities:: » supervise, plan and implement select fall, winter and spring sport marketing plans » Schedule game day elements that include but are not limited to anthem performers, halftime and time out performers, and color guard » Assist with game day operational responsibilities at all football, men's basketball, women's basketball and other assigned games » Create and facilitate a digital marketing plan including development of email databases and social media graphics » supervise and schedule the game day student volunteer program » Support student attendance and The Nation student fan group » Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing » All tasks and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Minimum Appropriate qualifications:: » Bachelor's degree » availability to lgain » Exceptional customer service expertise » Excellent oral and written communication expertise » Passion for sports and marketing » capability to multi-task and work under pressure » Team-oriented and must be willing to work irregular hours Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: » Sports marketing practice at either the professional or collegiate level » practice using Adobe Photoshop » Social Media Management Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: : » Candidate must be willing to work holidays, weekends, and evening hours.
