Responsibilities include: General leadership abilities: » Serve as a proactive mentor, teacher and problem solver » Set a positive leadership abilities example for others to aspire to Customer Care , you will be interacting with customers directly: » Immersing and educating yourself on our product offering to ensure an in-depth expertise of our product assortment » Greeting customers in a friendly & personable manner » Recommending, selecting, demonstrating, helping locate merchandise located on customers' needs/desires » Answering questions, providing information & telling the story about the shoppe/merchandise » Exercising patience and tact when assisting children and/or particular customers » Managing/motivating store team to provide highest level of customer care » Managing sales floor customer flow, interactions » Managing/executing in-store events & promotions, when applicable Merchant expertise » Supporting Creative Director in development, planning, scheduling, and executing in-store merchandising plan » Upholding all aspects of company merchandising standards » Developing/utilizing all available business analysis reports to aid in business growth » Reviewing sales frequently, proactively recommend sales opportunities Training & development » Utilizing all available training tools to provide consistent staff training » Administer reviews of sales associates Operations » Managing all aspects of store operations » Executing stock replenishment activities, maintaining organized/stocked floor during open hours » Managing store cleanliness procedures » Supporting in-store and web orders as necessary » Training all sales associates to have the highest standards of operation » Adhering to all ?typical day? guidelines Loss avoidance » Supervising regular inventory count process » Training sales associates on internal/external loss avoidance Appropriate qualifications: » practice working in retail environment in a managery/management level » Excellence, enthusiasm, and excitement about engaging with customers » Desire to be part of a tight knit team looking to transform/elevate the traditional retail practice » Excellent interpersonal & verbal communication expertise » Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and follow-up expertise » Strong planning and time management expertise with capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously » Strong listening expertise » Dependable/reliable » Computer literate, familiar with google office suite, various web apps » Neat and professional personal appearance » capability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, may include repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping and stairs and lifting of up to 30 pounds. » Integrity, holding yourself and your employees/team to the highest standards and doing the right thing always, even when no one is looking » Entrepreneurial spirit, seeing and creating opportunities others haven't » capability to work 40 hours/week » Bonus (but not required): you have hidden talents that contribute to the magical moments in our retail practice.
