Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill fifteen part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Student Engagement Program adjunct positions for the College of Business at Oregon State University (OSU).

Position supports the College of Business Student Engagement program and special events (a maximum of 20 hours per week). The Student Engagement program adjunct may support adjunct directors, instructors, program managers, and/or office admin.

Program adjuncts are cross-trained in multiple areas to support students and staff of the program and will have responsibilities that may include:

• Event support
• Support for engagement activities
• Teaching adjunct tasks
• Organizing data and assisting in report creation
• Support for precollege activities
• And other tasks, as assigned

Position will involve access to confidential data and information.

The pay rate will be $15.70 per hour.

Position tasks During the school term: 80% Student Engagement staff/office/event support, 20% other tasks as assigned.

   » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
   » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
   » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
   » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
   » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
   » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
   » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
   » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

Additional Required Qualifications Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred (Special) Qualifications Excellent organizational expertise; a history of being dependable and responsible at previous positions held; have prosperously completed BA160, BA161, BA162, or the entrepreneurial equivalent; a demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule Work schedule can vary; occasional evening and weekend hours are to be expected.
