Special Conditions: The department is especially interested in candidates that have: Master's degree in general education, special education or a related discipline 3 years' practice in K-12 setting. This is a grant-funded position contingent upon funding availcapability. Work location may be UofM main campus or Lambuth campus. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule. Participates in all regional and cross-state committees and completes high-quality, research-located assignments promptly. Assists in planning and leading local school districts and schools in the development of district and school implementation plans located on assessment data. tasks & Job responsibilities: Attends all trainings and conferences required by the regional and state Principal Investigator. Prepares and presents new learnings to fellow Education Consultants at weekly staff meetings. Facilitates the collection and the analysis of data to document growth and needs of the district and schools in the alignment of academics and behavior. tasks & Job responsibilities: Provides professional development on targeted needs of the district and schools. Provides training in alignment of academics and behavior in Tier 1, 2, and 3. tasks & Job responsibilities: Possesses knowledge and knowledge of TDOE's RTI (Response to Intervention) Manual and Dyslexia Resource Guide. Researches, creates, and participates in the statewide Community of Practice events as directed by the director/team leader. tasks & Job responsibilities: Promotes the alignment of the Center's RTI2-A + RTI2-B framework and reflects practices and processes promoted by in the center's trainings. Maintains knowledge of best practices and district & state level guidance and policies related to the implementation of RTI2-A + RTI2-B. Manages the development of processes, tools, and resources to support an integrated approach to alignment as assigned by the grant director/team leader. tasks & Job responsibilities: Other tasks as assigned.
