About POP
Play On Philly (POP) is a non-profit organization that provides daily, after-school music instruction to over 300 K-12 students. We work in communities that historically have had little or no access to formal music education. POP offers a transformative music education practice that develops and inspires the behaviors and personal expertise needed for a prosperous life.

Job Description
Reporting to the Development Director, the Development Associate assists in planning and superviseing POP's fundraising activities and events and is responsible for administrative and operational aspects of POP's donor practice, including tracking, reporting, event support, and general donor outreach.

Essential Functions:
   » Maintain database by recording gifts, tracking donation pledges and updating correspondence.
   » In partnership with the Development Director, manage information tracking processes regarding acexpertisements, recognition, continuing communications, and continued cultivation of donors to enhance their relationship with POP.
   » Track key performance indicators toward departmental fundraising goals.
   » Work in conjunction with the Development and Program Teams to ensure consistency in tone, content and branding of all externally facing content.
   » Manage administrative details connected with Major Giving program events.
   » Implement tasks connected with POP's annual fundraising event, Evening of Harmony, in collaboration with the Development Director and the full team.
   » Maintain budgets for related projects and responsibilities.

Requirements
   » Proficiency with Office365 and donor databases; familiarity with Adobe preferred.
   » availability to lgain new software programs and applications.
   » Excellent organizational and communication expertise, both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail.
   » practice with content creation and social media platforms.
   » capability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events.
   » capability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team and organizational goals.
