We welcome applications from scholars trained in Theology and/or Religious Studies who research any aspect of AAD spirituality, with preference for candidates who focus on one or more of the following: Black Christianities and Black Catholicism, African Christianities, Africana philosophy, indigenous African religions, African or African-American Islam, African diasporic religions. Interdisciplinary engagement in anthropology, history, political science, sociology, or other related disciplines is welcome. prosperous candidates will demonstrate potential for teaching and mentoring excellence at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels.
