The Office of the Registrar is seeking an adjunct Registrar-Veteran & Military Compliance. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.

The Office of the Registrar is an Oregon State University mission-critical unit. We serve as an innovative partner, providing a clear path for student success. We provide enrollment and instructional services, maintain academic history, and offer support services to students, staff, and faculty. The adjunct Registrar-Veteran & Military Compliance a member of the Operations Team, reporting to the Associate Registrar for Operations in the Office of the Registrar. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and adhering to a compliance program that supports Veteran's Administration (VA) education benefits, federal/state tuition assistance programs, and university tuition programs delivered to students. Collaboration and communication are important aspects of this position for building and maintaining strong partnerships across the institution. Success in this position includes the capability to pivot quickly within an everchanging environment; comfort with ambiguity and flexibility are important. The adjunct Registrar-Veteran & Military Compliance function is necessary to ensure compliance with VA and Department of Defense (DoD) education benefit programs that support student success at Oregon State University.

What You Will Need
   » Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years working with federal and state regulations related program eligibility, certifications, or related compliance functions.
   » A minimum of one year of supervision practice.
   » practice advising and/or instructing the public concerning specific programs or processes, monitoring programs, or performing participant reviews.
   » Effective written and verbal communication expertise.
   » Demonstrated effectiveness in collaborating, communicating, and building relationships with stakeholders who have various identities, cultural backgrounds, communication styles and expectations.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must prosperously complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule Typical office environment with an 8-5 Monday through Friday schedule. The adjunct Registrar-VA & Military Compliance is onsite in Corvallis, Oregon. However, following prosperous onboarding and in collaboration with their manager, the employee may be able to work up to two days remotely Monday through Thursday, in alignment with a flexible work agreement .
