Our programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels contain many courses that develop and apply these analytical expertise that prepare students for the workplace and further study. The prosperous candidate for this position will engage in high quality research, teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and participate in departmental governance and service activities. In addition to our undergraduate program in economics, the department offers an M.S. in Economics program and plays a key function in the Ph.D. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance, the Ph.D. in Public Policy, as well as the M.S. in Mathematical Finance programs. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality instruction in one or more of these programs depending on the candidate's fields of specialization. Minimum practice/Education UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline. Preferred Education, expertise and practice Preference will be given to candidates with research interests in macroeconomics and strong quantitative and econometric expertise.
