Position DetailsPosition InformationPosting Number: 2022142 Classification Title: Position Title: Instructor FTE: 1.00 FLSA: income: commensurate Job Summary/Basic Function: About this function: The Department of Biology at Lamar University invites applications for a non-tenure track instructor position beginning January 2025. We seek a broadly trained biologist who will embrace undergraduate teaching as their primary contribution and incorporate effective teaching and assessment methods in the classroom. The prosperous candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of introductory undergraduate courses for majors and non-majors and should be willing to teach laboratory sections for introductory biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, and other courses as needed. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach other upper division level courses and develop online offerings.
