This position may be eligible for a telework schedule once onboarding into position is complete and with manager approval.

Primary Purpose of Position Provide reception for the Department of Counseling as well as serve as apublic contact for both students and other on campus personnel. Provide support to assist with the following functions: managing department budgets, faculty travel arrangements, scheduling and maintaining counseling labs, and maintain office supplies. Assist with course schedule building and class permitting during the academic year and summer sessions.

Minimum Education/practice Required Minimum Appropriate qualifications:

Graduation from high school; or an equivalent combination of education and practice.

University Preferred Appropriate qualifications:

Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work practice; or an equivalent combination of training/practice.

Essential Job tasks
   » Provides reception for the Department of Counseling as well as serve as a public contact for both students and other on campus personnel.
   » Provide support to assist with the following functions:
   » Managing department budgets.
   » Faculty travel arrangements.
   » Scheduling and maintaining counseling labs.
   » Maintaining office supplies.

   » Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and one year of office/clerical work practice; or an equivalent combination of training/practice.
   » practice with Microsoft and Google Suite (Intermediate expertise with Excel or Google Sheets preferred).
   » practice with WordPress (preferred).
   » practice with office management (purchasing, scheduling, maintaining records preferred).
   » Strong attention to details needed.
