Position Summary: Position : The Department of Management Information Systems in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics at the University of Memphis is seeking qualified candidates for an instructor position. This position will be effective Fall 2024, or Spring 2025. This is a 9-month non-tenure-track appointment. Hiring is contingent on final budget approval.

Job responsibilities: Effectively delivering course instruction, evaluating student learning, participating in related department activities, and complying with all College and University regulations. adjunct Professors of Teaching normally teach up to five 3-credit courses per semester. For this position, the instructor will be responsible for teaching on-ground and/or on-line sections that could include MIS 7670 Information Security Management, MIS 3210 Critical Thinking using Analytics, MIS7710 Web Analytics, MIS 7720 Business Artificial Intelligence, or BA7603 Business Analytics for Managers, or other courses as needed.

The College: The Fogelman College of Business and Economics is a leading business school in the Southeast. Degree programs offered include the BBA, MBA, MA and MS, and PhD. Minimum Position Appropriate qualifications: Appropriate qualifications: Candidates with an appropriate master's degree and significant related practice will be considered. Prior college teaching practice in areas related to data analytics, artificial intelligence, programming, and online instruction is desired.
