Job Summary This is an Internal Employment Opportunity

This recruitment will be used to fill one 9-month, part-time (.25) FTE (10 hours) Temporary Teaching adjunct (Non-Student) on the OSU Cascades Campus.

The (non-student) Temp. Teaching adjunct mentors students in aquatic entomology, provides and maintains an atmosphere conducive to learning and retaining material studied, enriches student knowledge of time management and campus resources, and fosters an atmosphere of fun and learning.

tasks may include grading, admin support and general work, proctoring, synthesizing materials (e.g., literature reviews), facilitating student group processes, attending class lectures as per manager's request, meeting with student to provide constructive feedback. This position is expected to serve as a function model to students, always conducting him/herself in the utmost professional manner, and maintaining appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.

OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon is a branch campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, the university currently enrolls more than 1,100 students in bachelor's and master's degree programs. The campus expanded to a fouryear university in 2015, and opened its new campus in 2016. The branch campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach

What We Require
Equivalent to a high school diploma and six months of paid or unpaid practice working with or caring for children, preferably in groups; OR Two years of college courses in Education. Some positions in this class may require the possession of an Oregon Driver's License valid for the class of vehicles used by the employing agencies.
