Job Opportunity: Producer:Nebraska Public MediaJob description: Producer Listing description Produce compelling, creative and high-quality sports broadcast and digital content for Nebraska Public Media! Be part of an award-winning team producing and directing live sports multi-camera coverage including live high school and college sports along with a variety of other live and recorded content and studio productions. Produce non-sports content in other genres which may include history, arts, health, and science. practice producing non-fiction television content from start to finish. Strong writing and original storytelling expertise are vital to this position. Requirements:Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, communications or related field and five (5) years of practice originating, developing, writing, and producing programs for local/regional/national audiences essential; equivalent education/practice considered. Strong interpersonal expertise necessary. capability to seek and secure program funding through grants and/or underwriting. capability to lead and supervise professional staff. Skill in television production, multi-camera directing, copywriting and editing, expertise of current events, computer literacy. Strong writing and original story-telling expertise. capability to direct live multi-camera studio and remote telecasts.
