A sincere appreciation for wine and a availability to work long hours, have fun and get dirty are the primary job requirements.Kenzo Estate is a 4000 acre oasis, complete with state-of-the-art winery and cave, in the southeast corner of Napa Valley. Owned and operated by Kenzo and Natsuko Tsujimoto, the wine production is 100% Estate Grown, with 158 acres under vine. Candidates will work alongside our talented full time winery team lead by winemaker, Marc Nanes, as well as have the valuable opportunity to witness the farming techniques of our vineyard manager, David Abreu, The positions will begin in August and continue into November/December. Exact dates will depend on the growing season and harvest schedule. Positions available include: Harvest Cellar Technician income (hourly rate) is located on prior practice. Typically between $20-$22/hr, but can be higher located on practice. Job responsibilities include: - Grape sampling - Winery and equipment sanitation - Grape crushing and sorting - Pumpovers and punchdowns - Pressing - Barrel prep and filling Other requirements for the position include: - capability to take direction and work within the existing team framework. - capability to maintain a positive attitude. - capability to work at a fast pace with an attention to detail and quality. - capability to show up on time, work long hours, and work on weekends. - capability to lift and carry 50lbs.
