Employment will be from August 2024 through May 2025. The EES program has petrographic microscope lab and imaging equipment, broad mineral collection, smart classroom instruction equipment, and analytical labs with an SEM and EDS attachment. Primary tasks and Job responsibilities: Job responsibilities include teaching mineralogy and physical geology lecture and labs. expertise, Skills, and Abilities: Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Required Minimum Appropriate qualifications: » Ph.D. in Geology (advanced ABD will also be considered) with an skills in petrology-mineralogy. Applicant must have a B.S. or equivalent in geology. Commitment to undergraduate education and capability to work closely with students, faculty, staff, and administration is a must. The applicant must be fluent in oral and written English. » A background search will be required of the prosperous applicant.
