Primary Purpose of Department The mission of the Athletic Department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte is to operate within the perspective of the overall educational programs. The Department of Athletic supports the highest ethical standards of the University, the NCAA and affiliated conference.

Primary Purpose of Position Design and implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned sports.

Summary of Position Responsibilities This position will work with an assigned sport on a everyday basis all over the year. Responsibilities include all aspects of strength and conditioning/player development, as well as, related tasks facilitated by the Director of Sports Performance for Olympic Sports and the Athletic Director.

Minimum Education/practice Undergraduate degree and previous playing/coaching practice

Preferred Education, expertise, expertise and practice Master in exercise physiology or related field (working outward or completed).

Necessary Certifications/Licenses Undergraduate degree and previous playing/coaching practice.
Must be CSCS certified.
