Position DetailsPosition InformationAdvertising Department ART, SCHOOL OF Academic Term/Year FALL 2024/SPRING 2025 Position Title Federal Work Study (On-Campus) - 3D Studio adjuncts in Sculpture Posting Number 06516 Position Number 06516 Student Job Category Student - Federal Work Study On-Campus Number of Vacancies 2 Job Description ECU School of Art and Design is currently seeking several 3D Studio adjuncts to support the tidiness, maintenance, and organization of the sculpture studios. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and can work independently. Job tasks: » Maintaining cleanliness; including floors, counters, and various surfaces of tools, supplies, and equipment. » Resetting and maintenance of equipment as instructed by professor. » Must be able to move heavier items, tools, and equipment in a safe manner using proper methods for the purpose of course activities and/or organization. » Occasional inventory of supplies and transport of supplies on campus, and perform other tasks as assigned by professor. » Be willing and able to lgain basic safety and machine functions as pertains to assisting sculpture personnel. Proper training to be provided at the studio. Student employees may be asked to work evenings and/or weekends to serve the above tasks more effectively. Schedules are to be determined by student employees and professor. Hourly rate $10 per hour. Preferred (Majors, practice, GPA, etc.) Sculpture Concentration students are strongly preferred but will train a dedicated individual. candidates should be in good academic standing.
