The Account and Partnership Manager will secure corporate sponsorship to support the mission of Cascade PBS, which is to inspire a smarter world. Sponsorship revenue supports the operations and programming Cascade PBS, local media organization that provide award-winning journalism and valuable educational content to the Pacific Northwest community while demonstrating Cascade PBS's values of integrity, community, innovation, and diversity. Sponsorships may include unrestricted and restricted revenue as well as trade agreements. $42,000 base plus competitive commission structure ($42,000-$100,000) Seattle, hybrid schedule available Cascade PBS offers competitive benefits to team members working 20 hours or more a week.Benefitsinclude : » 11 paid holidays » 1 personal holiday » 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) to start » Half-day Fridays during Summer » Company-matched 401(k) Retirement Plan that is fully vested immediately » Employer paid ORCA card » Employee Assistance Program (EAP) » Medical » Dental » Vision Apply Here KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/tasks » Initiate, cultivate, and secure partnerships with companies and advertising agencies through outside sales tactics » Research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data for TV and digital audience prospects and clients » Create proposals and sponsorship packages » Plan and conduct sales presentations » Negotiate and finalize contracts » Secure corporate sponsorships and meet or exceed revenue target » Manage and grow continuing client relationships » Maintain up-to-date account and prospect information (including contact management information and affidavits) » Enter account, contract, and media ID information into traffic and CRM system » Ensure spots air as ordered, digital ads are served, sponsorships activated, and sponsored content published to provide optimalclient service » Coordinate payment schedules with Accounts Receivable » Work with Production, Design, and clients to produce TV spots and digital ads » Provide Traffic with necessary information needed for scheduling spots and digital ads » Plan and conduct team sales calls including staff from Underwriting and other departments as needed » Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of Cascade PBS. » Other tasks, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice REQUIRED expertise/ABILITIES » Excellent presentation expertise and proven sales capability required » Must be comfortable with cold calls » capability to multi-task, troubleshoot and deal with deadlines required » A working expertise of audience research, contact management and traffic systems preferred » Working expertise of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) EDUCATION AND practice » Three years' media or business-to-business sales practice required » Familiarity with event sponsorship and digital sponsorship sale preferred » practice in outside sales required » Established clients and/or contact list preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS » capability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time » capability to type on a keyboard for long periods of time » capability to sit or stand for extended periods » Must have a valid driver's license or reliable means of transportation to meet requirements of the job » capability to work some evenings and weekends Cascade PBS is committed to building a team that represents a diversity of thought, practice and personal background.
