As Director of Content, this critical leadership abilities function manages all broadcast and streaming content, ensuring that programming educates, informs, enriches, and inspires for a media organization with an annual operating budget of $13 million located in sunny Tallahassee, Florida. The preferred candidate qualifications include: » 10+ years of practice managing people and projects. » A Bachelor's Degree. » A strong commitment to journalistic standards and editorial integrity. » Broad practice in managing programming and production for both broadcast and streaming media, including studio-located and remote multi-camera productions, digital shorts, and major documentaries. » Proven leadership abilities and management skills, particularly in supervising creative staff and managing budgets. » In-depth expertise and practice in public media production and programming. » The capability to understand and consistently leverage local programming that varies from public affairs, culture, music, and history. » A prosperous track record of building internal collaborations for effective program production and distribution. » skills in strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
