ATTENTION WINERY SALES & HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONALS:

Napa Valley Distillery is seeking a Lead Concierge for the most unique club in Napa Valley... Our Distinguished Bar Club!

This is an immediate opportunity for a highly enthusiastic and motivated person with practice in Wine Club management, processing, ecommerce sales and customer service or wine tasting room sales and hospitality to cross over to our side of the bar!

You'll be part of an awesome club & ecommerce program and serve guests who love and appreciate what we do. You will work directly with executive management.

This is a full-time position with a set weekday schedule with occasional weekends, evenings, and overtime depending on club events, shipments, or other activities. A part-time position might be considered.

We custom curate each of our quarterly Bar Club shipments so We are seeking for someone who is creative and passionate about cocktails and spirits because every shipment is new and unique. We want someone who wants to work hard, work smart and have fun with us in the process.

We offer a very competitive compensation plan with commissions, bonuses and benefits. This position is available immediately.

Basic Summary:

tasks include tracking sales and processing ecommerce sales, coordination of member shipments, processing enrollments, cancellations, orders, returns, producing printed and electronic communications, planning and hosting special events, providing membership services, monitoring inventory availcapability, monitoring club benefits and working with retail staff and vendors who will assist you with some of those tasks.

Specific tasks include:

•  Assist with coordinating, planning, organizing Bar Club related business and Bar Club customer service and ecommerce sales.
•  Help maintain database of customers and mailing lists. Correspond with customers and provide the highest level of customer service and special club only offers.
•  Assist with planning and execution of all club events and parties such as theme planning, set up and breakdowns, sales and vendor coordination.
•  supervise and process/ship website orders.
•  Assist with club charges via WineDirect. Process all enrollment forms using the club database program, including data entry and confirming all information provided.
•  Coordinate automatic and custom shipments for the club members. May include verifying credit cards, confirming billing, coordinating with shipping partners, and assisting with problem resolution regarding the shipments.
•  Coordinate and assist will-call system for club members who prefer to pick up club shipments. May include assembling the pick-up orders, instructing hospitality staff on procedures, contacting club members, and monitoring time line for pick-ups.
•  Coordinate and assist the back-end processing of our club including data entry, troubleshooting, set up, and execution of shipments through various shipping partners.
•  Develop promotional material such as our quarterly newsletters and special offers in between-shipments.
•  Track inventory.
•  Track and report the number of new sign-ups on a weekly basis.
•  Provide hospitality and concierge services to club members including fulfilling special requests, booking tours and/or tastings, responding to information requests.
•  Comply with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures. Participate in safety training and report all unsafe conditions or work practices.
•  Participate in team efforts and perform additional tasks related to Club as needed.

Appropriate qualifications:

•  The highest level of customer service expertise; professional demeanor and appearance; outgoing personality; entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and leadership abilities; commitment to excellence, including the highest standards of work and accountcapability, and continuous improvement; capability to prosperously manage priorities and workflow for multiple simultaneous projects. MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH WINEDIRECT POS.
•  Excellent organizational and time management expertise; capability to work unsupervised.
•  Exceptional, professional written and oral communication expertise.
•  At least 2-years of practice in wine or spirits retail, hospitality and event staffing (or equivalent) desired; exceptional, similar practice from other industries will be considered.
•  At minimum, an associate degree in business, marketing, or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and practice.
•  Advanced PC expertise (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Working expertise of CRM is valuable.
•  Graphic design, photography, and social media expertise are valuable.
•  Be passionate and expertiseable about Cocktails and Spirits or wine.

Physical Requirements:

Moderate physical activity performing occasional somewhat strenuous activities, including standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and carrying. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach, handle items, and work with the fingers. Requires lifting and moving objects up to 30 lbs. in weight.
