We are pursuing an Intermediate Architectural Designer with strong design expertise to join our ground up studio. Working with the project team, the right candidate would be responsible for taking ownership of significant aspects of multiple projects of various scales. This would include design and production as required all over all phases of any particular project. The prosperous candidate should have the following Appropriate qualifications: » 3 to 6 years significant post-graduate US practice » Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution » Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Sketchup would be a plus » practice and comfort level in taking a significant function on projects from initial concept through construction administration » practice and capability to develop construction documents under limited direction of senior staff, while maintaining and improving the accuracy of a BIM model » A working expertise of architectural design details » A working expertise of applicable local codes » capability to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors especially including construction administration practice and the capability to coordinate with all trades and consultants in the field » capability to multi-task and manage various assignments simultaneously » capability to work on short time frames and meet deadlines » Strong design, communication, organizational and collaborative expertise » Desire and capability to work in a fast-paced and rigorous environment » Strong written and verbal communication expertise Excellent benefits package.
