Position InformationPosting Number:: 20234705V Position Title:: VSB LAIR Research Associate Posting Type: Student Hours/week:: Approx 5-10 hours/week Eligibility:: Work study preferred but open to all students Semester: 2023-2024 Academic Year Location : Bartley Hall Detailed Work Schedule: Student will work approx 5-10 hours per week over the fall '23 semester and/or spring '24 semester Number of positions:: 2 Department:: 216-Dean - Villanova School of Business Contact Name:: Julie Murphy Contact Phone/Extension:: 610-519-4329 Position Summary Information Job Description Summary:: The Research Associate will work with the faculty director of LAIR on managing the Laboratory for Advancement of Interdisciplinary Research (LAIR). The tasks include, but not limited to: (1) Supervising data collection in the LAIR lab; (2) Helping with Information technology needs (hardware and software) in the LAIR lab; (3) Establishing a schedule for running studies with the CE pool; (4) Managing the SONA system, which is used to recruit CE participants; (5) Performing SONA system maintenance at the end of each semester; (6) Arranging and coordinating surveys using Qualtrics for researchers, and (7) Communicating with CE faculty and CE participants. Requirements:: Student must be able to commit 10 hrs/week to assigned RA position. This requires use of good time management expertise, follow-through on tasks, attention to detail with recording of worked time.
