The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine provides excellence in education, patient care, research, and service in mental health. The Department ensures that the academic mission of the Brody School of Medicine is met while providing excellent patient care at our primary teaching facilities ECU Health Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, ECU Health Medical Center and several on-campus and satellite outpatient clinics. These clinics are located in Greenville and across eastern North Carolina. Job tasks The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine is currently seeking to hire a full-time Executive adjunct to join their administrative team. The Executive adjunct works directly with the Department Chair and is responsible for all administrative activities and functions assigned to the Chairman's office, including faculty personnel coordination. This Executive adjunct provides assistance with complex departmental administrative functions to enhance education, research and patient care activities. This position is the primary EHRA Faculty Coordinator for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. Minimum Education/practice High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management practice; or Associate degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management practice; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and practice. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
