Ourvines, planted in the 1960’s, are some of the oldest and most diverse in the Willamette Valley. Wine production occurs on site with all native yeast fermentations and a focus on organic practices. This is a terrific opportunity to be part of a winemaking team that can offer a strong education environment, broad practice, creative space, and which promotes and provides growth opportunities within the company. We are seeking for a dedicated, excited, and passionate person to join our team full time starting immediately. The position will be year around in the winery with some opportunities to assist in specific vineyard work as well. practice working in wineries is a plus, however we will provide thorough training to individuals eager to lgain and get involved. Requirements and Appropriate qualifications: • Information technology would be a bonus if you have at least 1 year or more of previous practice or equivalent education. • Forklift practice a plus but not required. • Basic expertise of viticulture & winemaking • Able to work long hours (12+) and have flexible schedule. • Long term standing or walking on uneven terrain. • capability to speak Spanish, or a commitment to lgain on the job. • Motivated and willing to lgain about wine and vines • Strong work ethic. • Able to lift 50 lbs. and work extended hours in a physically demanding environment • capability to follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety procedures. • Reliable mode of transportation Please respond with a cover letter and resume if you would like to apply.
