We take a broad approach to design, for projects of many different program types and scales. We are pursuing: An architect with four to eight years of practice working in architectural studios, someone that can work on a variety of project types and scales, collaborating with others in our studio, our clients, other disciplines, as well as builders and tradespeople. You will explore solutions to problems by developing concept and detail designs, producing design drawings, construction documents and specifications, and visiting sites to help realize the built work. You will meet weekly to schedule your time and review deliverables so you can manage your workflow and help achieve goals. You’ll work with the firm’s principals and with more senior collaborators in all aspects of the work. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm. candidates in the NYC metro area will work a minimum of three days in the office, and candidates in the Philadelphia metro area will be considered with a modified in-office schedule. Compensation includes: A income in the $65-85K range, located on practice and a candidate’s capability to fulfill the requirements of the job. We may interview and ultimately hire Somebody with less or more practice, and, if so, the income may vary from this estimate. Three weeks of vacation, ten public holidays, two personal days, and seven sick days per year; Fifty percent contribution to your premium for one of the company’s health and dental insurance plans; A simple IRA plan with a matching contribution of up to three percent of compensation.
