Job Opportunity: Digital Communications Coordinator:Iowa Public RadioJob description: Digital Communications Coordinator Listing description Iowa Public Radio seeks a highly motivated communications professional to join our Membership team as our Digital Communications Coordinator. You'll join a team of prosperous fundraisers and will have the chance to play an essential function in developing strategy and messaging for Iowa Public Radio's membership fundraising efforts. This digital-focused position is responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the communication strategy across multiple platforms (digital, web, broadcast, etc.) to increase donor affinity and membership revenue. This individual supports the production of our on-air fund drives and promotions year-round and helps with IPR's events around the state, as needed. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication expertise and a passion for creating engaging digital assets with an eye for design. ANTICIPATED HIRING RANGE: $14.49 - $24.79 per hour ($30,148 - $51,557 annually) MINIMUM Appropriate qualifications: » Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and practice from which comparable expertise can be acquired; » 1 to 3 years of practice in a professional environment, including internships; » practice creating and editing compelling digital graphics and print assets with online design platforms and tools; » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise with attention to detail; » practice organizing competing projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines; » Great interpersonal expertise for interacting with members and the public; and » A valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation. PREFERRED Appropriate qualifications: » practice with Microsoft Office suite of programs with particular emphasis on Excel, creating and editing spreadsheets, pivot tables, analyzing data, data validation and working with advanced formulas; » Passion for creating engaging digital assets in programs like Canva with an eye for design; » practice using donor software programs or CRM software such as Salesforce or Blackbaud; and » capability to work effectively individually and as a member of a team.
