Our winery is seeking a full-time, Seasonal Viticulture & Grower Relations adjunct with our Vineyards department. This is a part time / seasonal position, through harvest (roughly July-October); hours can be flexible dependent on harvest schedules, approximately 20-30 hours/week. This position will assist in the day-to day tasks of Korbel Vineyards under the supervision and in collaboration with the Viticulturist and Grower Relations. Employee must be a team player and capability to think with a safety, sustaincapability, and quality mind-set. This is a great function for those looking to gain practice in the wine industry or seeking an interim function that takes one to gorgeous vineyards and outdoor vistas all over the Russian River Valley and Lodi region. Vehicle and ATV will be provided. Clean driving record is required. tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCULDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Assist in determining crop estimates by collecting cluster counts and bunch weights • Scouting vineyards for pests and diseases along with collecting phenological data • Sugar sampling during harvest for our wine making and vineyard departments • Driving to Clarksburg/Lodi area to collect grape samples Our seasonal employees are offered the following competitive advantages: • Holiday Pay • Discounts on products in our Wine Shop • Discounts at our on-site gourmet Delicatessen Hourly range for this position is $20-$24.25/hour.
