An equivalent combination of education, training and practice may be substituted for the degree requirement. Special Conditions: This is a grant-funded position. This appointment is contingent upon the continued availcapability of grant funds and may be terminated at any time without cause or prior written notice. There is no expectation of continued employment beyond the expiration date of the grant. This appointment is made subject to the laws of the State of Tennessee and the policies and requirements of the University of Memphis. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule Posting Date: 03/25/2024 Closing Date: 03/31/2024 Open Until Screening Begins: No Hiring Range: $45,000 - $50,000 per year Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time: Benefits Eligible Working Conditions: While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Screen and assist students in registering for industry expertise training and potential work-located learning opportunities. Work directly with Three Rivers and the local community colleges to connect students to expertise training programs identified as accelerated. tasks & Job responsibilities: Identify and recruit participants leveraging the business service unit at the American Job Centers. Actively recruit customers and collaborate with local training providers, schools, businesses, and agencies. tasks & Job responsibilities: Match participant expertise and practice with employer requirements in advancement manufacturing, logistics technology, or construction. Supply information about approved training and training providers to potential students who qualify for this program. tasks & Job responsibilities: Document participants' progress, needs, goals, and services provided to participants using MIS system software and build and maintain a participant paper file.
