TV Programming Manager

Listing description
As the TV Programming Manager, you will supervise the programming and scheduling of shows on Northwest Public Broadcasting (NWPB) television and its visual streaming platforms, ensuring a seamless practice for viewers. Your function will involve acquiring, planning, organizing, and monitoring of NWPB's television programs, services, and promotions. Additionally, you will collaborate with NWPB's Director of Audience, Director of Content, and Director of Marketing to leverage cross-promotional assets effectively. You will coordinate and manage the systems and in-house operations required for prosperous everyday operation of theNWPBtelevision. You will help manage the allocation of programming resources and regularly exercises independent judgment and discretion in work directly related to management policies or department business operations and has delegated authority to make commitments that affect department operations.
This position is located in Pullman, WA. Remote/hybrid work in the Western United States may be available.

Required Appropriate qualifications:
   »
A Bachelor's degree in a significant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible practice in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of managery practice. Any combination of significant education and practice may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

practice in broadcasting, with preference given to TV including practice in programming, traffic, asset management, or operations.

Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid driver's license at time of hire.
Monthly income:
$4,508.70 to $5,635.87 |In conformity with RCW 49.58.110, the income listed reflects the full income range for this position. Individual placement within the range is located on the candidate's current practice, education, expertise, and abilities related to the position. prosperous candidates typically begin up to mid-point of the income range.
