Minimum Qualifications» High school diploma from an accredited secondary institution or equivalent.» One or more years of customer service practice. Required knowledge, expertise, and abilities: » Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and human relations expertise. » Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of multitasking. » Demonstrate competence in the Microsoft Office and Google Workspace suites. » Operate office equipment including multi-line telephone, fax machine, photocopier, calculator, and desktop computer.
Preferred Qualifications» Associate Degree or post-secondary certificate in office administration or medical/dental office administration.» practice in an administrative position at the North Carolina Community Colleges System, OR medical/dental office, OR a public safety/EMS agency. » Advanced computer and office equipment expertise.

Our employees are charged to recognize the challenges we face and to respond to them with empathy, knowledge, and a availability to help.The EMS Programs Administrative adjunct's function is to support the EMS Program Director and faculty. Additionally, the Administrative adjunct provides input for program assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation related to the EMS program. This position is mission-critical for NCOEMS and accreditation requirements. The position is located at the Center for Workforce Development in Sanford. This position may have occasional travel between campuses and for training. Occasional after hours may be required. Essential tasks » Embrace the institutional goals of Central Carolina Community College by engaging faculty and students as full partners in the learning process, removing barriers to student progression, and supporting and assisting students in achieving their educational goals. » Provide administrative and clerical support to the EMS Program Director. » Respond to telephone, email and in-person inquiries related to EMS program. » Prepare all contracts, contract revisions, and course outline packets for all EMS classes. » Coordinate and maintain systems developed for internal communications, payroll, course schedules, contracts, book and supply orders, and everyday administrative paperwork. » Coordinate EMS office activities and provide superior customer service to the public, students, faculty, and staff. » Generate all EMS CEU certificates and prepares for mailing. » Coordinate the transport of EMS instructional equipment and supplies to community partners. » Collect and process EMS program registrations. » Accept carrier shipments and sends out mailed materials. » Assist EMS instructors with office equipment and clerical-related needs. » Prepare EMS-related forms, makes copies, and send copy requests to the copy center. » Manage and safeguard EMS paperwork and filing system to comply with college, state, and accreditation requirements. » Monitor American Heart Association records, inventory, and student CPR card delivery. » Assists with and participates in special EMS events held all over the year. » Communicate with Information technology Helpdesk for any departmental computer or equipment issues. » Communicate with maintenance personnel to report problems identified in workspaces. » Prepare requisitions for clinic, lab, and office supplies. » Receives and processes shipments and correspondence » Assists the accounts payable department as needed with EMS accounts issues. » Serves on college committees as assigned. » Complies with the CCCC Policy and Procedures Manual, as updated. » Complete the annual five-hour staff development. » Encourage and support College activities, policies, procedures, and philosophies. » Performs other tasks as assigned. » Recognizing and respecting the variety of practices and contributions represented by all of our students, employees, and community, the EMS Administrative adjunctwill encourage a learning environment where everyone is supported and valued for their unique perspectives and practices and will foster and promote the participation of all members of our diverse communities.
