Departmental Preferred practice, Skills, Training/suitable education Familiarity with undergraduate Psychology curriculum; familiarity with online course technology and learning management systems (Canvas); NC resident or greater Charlotte metropolitan area. tasks and Responsibilities The Department of Psychological Science at the University of North Carolina Charlotte invites applications for a part-time adjunct position, to begin August, 2024. We are seeking for individuals to teach undergraduate classes (any format in person, hybrid, or full only) with skills or prior teaching in the following areas: learning & cognition, sociocultural, biological, or applied psychology (e.g., I/O). Ideally, a prosperous candidate will be able to teach upper-level courses such as Cognitive Science/Human Cognitive Processes or Motivation or Personality and lower-level courses like Introduction to Brain, Behavior, & Mental Processes or Introduction to Social Psychology. In addition, a candidate being able and willing to teach research methods courses will be desirable.
