Some practice with instructional delivery via distance learning. Position DescriptionClosing date: Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until a final candidate has been selected.Applications submitted for continuous recruitment opportunities will remain active for 6 months. The primary work of this position is providing instruction for students in assigned classes in Sociology. Instructors conduct necessary research to plan, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate assigned instructional courses/programs; evaluate student performance; and serve as academic advisor to students as defined by college guidelines on a part-time basis. Instructors are also responsible for maintaining records and submitting reports in a timely manner. The work is performed under the supervision of the Dean of Arts and Sciences. Some evening work may be required. ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive.
