Working directly with the Principal-in-Charge & the firm’s Partners, the prosperous candidate will lead the interior design of a large institutional project. You will interface directly with Clients, Collaborations, and Senior Officials while collaboratively leading a team of practiced designers to develop and execute the design. In this function, you will collaborate with the Interiors Design Director for the development of the design direction for the project. You will lead the planning, designing, and furnishing of the interiors, formulating designs which are practical and meet the project’s requirements while also pursuing excellence in design, and will direct and lead the team in preparation for client presentations. As a leader in the firm, your impact is expected to carry beyond projects to the firm level, with a demonstrated interest for mentorship and a desire to participate in the continuing efforts to improve the firm’s process and tools. Required expertise & practice » Professional Degree in Architecture or Interior Design. Licensure a plus, but not a requirement. » 12+ years of related practice » Demonstrated design sensibility, graphic capability, and strength of technical expertise » Demonstrated capability to lead client presentations and to communicate effectively. » Computer expertise must include AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, and the Adobe Creative Suite » Demonstrated capability to efficiently manage a design team, developing and superviseing their work plans. » Demonstrated capability to efficiently design & manage multiple projects and deadlines autonomously. » Demonstrated leadership abilities, communication, relationship management, and mentoring expertise » An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in the culture of the studio Application Instructions Apply Here: Senior Interior Designer Please attach a cover letter, resume, and portfolio.
