Minimum QualificationsAn Associate's degree in Business/Operations Management or a related field from a regionally accredited institution with at least one year of significant work practice is required. candidates must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication expertise and use of technology.
Preferred QualificationsA Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational leadership abilities, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or Engineering preferred. Teaching practice or work practice in any of the following fields is preferred: Quality Control, Industrial Safety, Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Team Building, Problem Solving, and Supply Chain Management. practice teaching via distance education is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Position DescriptionInstructional tasks include teaching operations management classes, course planning, development, and evaluation. The instructor is responsible for creating and maintaining records regarding student evaluations, and recruiting and advising students. Participation in special events including meetings, orientation, graduation, recruiting activities, college planning processes, and adherence to achieving learning results is required. The instructor must demonstrate a commitment to creating a culture that encourages excellence and professional development in students and employees. Teaching assignments may include on-campus and off-campus classes during the day, evening, weekend, and online.If selected for employment, the applicant must submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.
