About This Position
We are pursuing a well-rounded Project Manager who is passionate about developing a novel design, documenting Information technology to be understood by others and seeing Information technology through in the field. Our ideal candidate will bring a fresh perspective to complement our team. They should be a positive and team-oriented leader that prioritizes calm problem-solving, empathy and effective communication. They will constantly seek opportunities to work smarter and improve our workflow. The prosperous candidate will join a team of longstanding Project Managers in driving the studio forward through an established project management workflow.
Qualifications
   »
At least seven years of significant practice, with one year in a leadership abilities position
   »
Strong time management, project planning, design and technical practice in every phase from design through construction
   »
Project management practice and the capability to manage up, down, and sideways within the firm as well as with consultants, clients and contractors
   »
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
   »
Comfort working in a dynamic studio with a range of creative and challenging projects
   »
Rigorous approach to delivering high quality work
   »
Empathy for clients, consultants, general contractors and other project partnersProficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and MS Office
   »
Professional degree in architecture or interior design is required
   »
Professional accreditation (AIA or IIDA) is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
   »
Lead interior architecture and major renovation projects in some of the following sectors: multifamily residential, commercial office, academic and hospitality
   »
Plan and guide the work of our design team and consultants
   »
Work with a team of Project Managers to balance office-wide workloads and schedules
   »
Collaboratively iterate design concepts with the project team, including coordinating architectural design with structural and MEP-FP systems
   »
Thoughtfully tailor these design concepts to the project constraints to balance design impact, cost, schedule and constructcapability
   »
Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and the project team to build trust all over the design and construction process
   »
Thoroughly develop and review the work of our consultants for coherence with the overall design intent and coordinate this work in the architectural design
   »
Lead the architectural construction administration process to ensure design intent translates into the built environment
   »
Engage in a culture of 360 degree mentorship of peers, firm leaders and emerging professionals
