As a Dining Services Hospitality Associate you will serve customers in an efficient and courteous manner . The Dining Services Hospitality Associate will work with management and co-workers to instill and foster the value of the Villanova Mission Statement and the Dining Services Mission Statement. Job tasks include but are not limited to: » Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines. capability to prepare and/or cook food for cold production and for pizza/grill lines. Stock, rotate and replenish merchandise as needed. Back of the house production includes salad and fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items » May work on any of the following stations serving our customers: sandwich/salad/pizza/grill/Holy Grounds areas/register stations » Cleans and sanitizes food equipment and dining room tables and chairs » Works special events/weekends as required » Assists in the dish room area if needed including sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash/recycling » Perform additional job tasks as directed by manager or manager Minimum Appropriate qualifications:: » Basic reading and writing expertise; basic communication expertise » Excellent customer service expertise » Practices excellent personal hygiene habits and follows and adheres to uniform standards » capability to: follow directions and complete assigned tasks, work with minimal supervision, and to interact with people on a constant basis Preferred Appropriate qualifications:: » Preferred - High school diploma or equivalent » Preferred - Basic expertise of food service safety and sanitation » Preferred - Serv Safe Training and Allergy consciousness Training Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: : » capability to stand for extended periods » capability to lift, push/pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance » capability to withstand extreme temperatures Special Message to candidates:: SCHEDULE during normal operating hours Monday/Friday/Saturday 5pm - 11pm Sunday 11am - 5pm Off Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday Posting Date:: 11/09/2023 Closing Date (11:59pm ET):: income Posting Information: : $17.50/hr.
