Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill 2 part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) student adjunct for the ESE at Oregon State University (OSU).

This position is for a student adjunct who will work as a member of the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Corporate Relations team.
Team members do data entry, pull reports, build Excel worksheets and manage data. A high attention to detail, and the capability to follow detailed instructions is required. Good customer service expertise and basic professional manners are required. Desktop publishing practice is valuable, but not required. Other tasks will be assigned as needed. adjuncts work in a team environment, many times on group projects. Those hired, have the choice of working in the office, or remotely, with occasional travel to on-site events.

Position tasks Data entry and management in programs like Salesforce, Excel, etc. We provide training, but prior Excel practice is valuable.
Create event materials (agendas, name tags, etc.) using existing templates.
Work collaboratively with team members on group projects, following detailed instructions.
Document your work daily.
Some basic office work.
Act as an ambassador for the School at events, providing customer service to guests, hand out name tags, etc.
Lgain software and other office procedures.

   » Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study
   » Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment
   » Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
   » High School student: Regularly enrolled in a high school or participating in a home-schooling program
   » Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student: 6 credit hours per term
   » Undergraduate international student: 12 credit hours per term*
   » Graduate student officially admitted to Graduate School: 5 credit hours per term
   » Graduate international student officially admitted to Graduate School: 9 credit hours per term*

*International students may be allowed to carry fewer hours than specified above and still be considered ?full-time? by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). A reduced course load is approved by the Office of International Services (OIS), and must be provided to the Student Employment Center.

Working Conditions / Work Schedule 10-20 hours a week during the term between 8 am - 5 pm. Flexible schedule for finals and dead week. Invited (but not required) to work additional hours during break. A few times a year, adjuncts may be asked to travel (paid) to events and/or work outside of business hours to support events. This job involves occasionally lifting objects weighing roughly 20pounds.
